Building on the Foundation module, this training course provides practical knowledge on the implementation of security policies. Topics covered include risk management, security controls, and the establishment of an ISMS. The training course specifically prepares participants for responsible tasks in information security and strengthens their expertise in modern IT security requirements.

Certification: EXIN® Information Security Professional ISO/IEC 27001

This module focuses on preparing for CISA certification. It covers key topics in IT auditing and IT control, as well as the monitoring of information systems. The aim is to develop skills in the structured planning, implementation, and evaluation of IT audits—taught in a practical and understandable way.

Certification: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

The CISSP module is designed for experienced IT security professionals. It covers eight key security domains, including security architecture, risk management, and cryptography. CISSP certification is internationally recognized and stands for a high level of competence in information security.

Certification: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

  • AI – various topics: In-depth study of current developments and applications of artificial intelligence in the context of IT security.
  • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) including exam: Expansion of skills in the area of cloud security with a focus on architecture, governance, and compliance.

Start date: Individual start possible at any
timeDuration: 5.5 months full-time, twice as long part-time.
Implementation: Classes take place as live online training. In addition, there is structured learning and exam preparation with personal mentor support.
Location: Participation is possible at the New Horizons Training Center or flexibly remotely from home.

The program is aimed at professionals in the fields of computer science, business informatics, and IT security, as well as IT experts and security specialists.

Prerequisites:
Existing knowledge forms the basis for successful further training. All modules can be flexibly combined and individually adapted. Basic English skills are required.
