This continuing education program provides targeted training for positions in financial accounting and payroll accounting with DATEV. It imparts practical knowledge of DATEV financial accounting, DATEV payroll accounting, and Microsoft Excel. The content is up-to-date, clearly structured, and geared toward the requirements of modern commercial professions.

  • Using Excel safely and efficiently: From structured spreadsheet work and sound data analysis to meaningful visualization. Practical examples show how Excel can be used optimally in finance and accounting.

  • The basics of digital accounting with DATEV are taught. Participants gain an overview of accounting processes, charts of accounts, and evaluations, and learn how to use the software confidently in everyday business operations.

    Certification: DATEV Financial Accounting

  • A compact introduction to payroll accounting with DATEV: from the legal basics and accounting processes to the secure use of the software. The focus is on practical knowledge for reliable payroll accounting.

    Certification: DATEV Payroll

  • CRM Finance/Controlling: Teaches the basics and possible applications of CRM systems in the areas of finance and controlling.
  • Fundamentals of Accounting: Introduction to the principles of bookkeeping and accounting for commercial activities.
  • Microsoft Power BI: Enables the creation of interactive reports and dashboards for data analysis in the financial sector.
  • Microsoft Word/Outlook/PowerPoint: Trains participants in the confident use of the most important Office applications for office communication.
  • Business English: Improves language skills for communication in everyday international business.

Start date: Individual start possible at any
timeDuration: 2.5 months full-time, part-time is possible, the total duration is extended accordingly.
Implementation: Live online lessons form the basis of the training. This is followed by structured preparation for learning content and exams. Personal mentors provide individual support throughout the learning process.
Location: At the New Horizons Training Center or remotely (online) from home.

Prerequisites:
Basic commercial knowledge is helpful but not essential. Confident use of a computer and basic German language skills are required.

Funding: The Employment Agency
can cover 100% of the costs of further training by means of an education voucher. Employees are also eligible for funding under the Qualification Opportunities Act. Funding for short-time work can also be claimed.
